    1. Hi Satya,

You make learning and reading addictive. All eyes fixed on you. Thank you being such a good and trust worthy guide.
While running connect-soap, if any exception occurs then how can we know that the exception is caused due to soap service or web service.
I was familiar about soap faults and transition step.
Anyone please do let me know if possible with an example.

    2. Hi sathya,

Thank You so much for this blog. It helped me lot. I am a Technical Recruiter by profession and first time working on this technology was bit tough for me, this article really helped me a lot to understand the details to get started with.

We're having an issue with Blue Prism when trying to read a CSV-file. For some reason Blue Prism is using comma as the delimiter when it should be semicolon. All the Windows settings should be right in the region settings but and when you open the CSV manually it uses semicolon as it should, but still BP uses comma. Is there a some other setting we might have missed?
Blue Prism software enables organizations to become active, without introducing operational opportunities. A company has the capability to integrate, automate, organize systems and also processes to build a “virtual workforce” with the Automation Platform.

Excellent tutorials - very easy to understand with all the details. I hope you will continue to provide more such tutorials.

Thanks for the post. Very good details. Worked like a charm. Good directions.

Suppose We have 3 excel sheet and we developed a process to get read data from excel sheet but Everyweek these excelsheet name changed or Excsheel put location folder changed. Because We know 3 excel name chaged but how robot will know and process only these 3 excel files.
What is possible way to do this.
Option1- Can we create Enviourment variable and every week we can reconfigure robot
Option 2- Can we read *.xlsx files from folder/location and then process them.
      Excelsheet name changed every week?
      Please suggest your valuable options.

Am currently implementing for an organisation which has a branch in South
Africa, so i created another business group because of their legislature over
there. i need to know if there any concurrent programs one has to run any
concurrent program after creating the business group so/if their statutory
deductions would be automatically created and calculated.

Thanks a lot. This was a perfect step-by-step guide. Don’t think it could

    1. Hi Satya,

Gratitude for putting up this prolific article! You truly make everything a cake walk. Genuinely good stuff, saving time and energy.

I might have misinterpreted your question. By the wordings "in AAE" I assumed it to be column AAE of Excel, but I think you may want to know how to find the the total number of columns in an Excel sheet and below are the commands in Automation Anywhere Uipath Training USA .

-Open Worskheet: Either New or existing

-Activate sheet: Activate the required sheet

      - Go to cell: A1

-Insert keystrokes - Control and Right arrow

      Here there are two options:
      i. If the sheet contains data in the first row: then you need to Insert these keystrokes twice so that it will take you to the last column (or can set it to maximum no. of times if you do not know how the 1st row is)

ii. If the sheet does not contain any data then only once.

-Set cell: 'Set Cell' to insert the formula as "=Column()"
This will give the result as shown in the screenshot.

      - Then you can either close the worksheet without saving Or just Set cell this cell back to blank so that the formula is removed.

Once again thanks for your tutorial.

      Obrigado,
      Kevin

Thanks for the tip, appreciate it. Your article definitely helped me to understand the core concepts.
I want to know difference between UiPath & RPA Leading vendors (Automation Anywhere & Blue Prism) … It will be good if it’s in table format.
I would also like to know Difference Between UiPath & Selenium.
Appreciate if someone help me to get these details.
    Thanks in Advance.
I’m most excited about the details your article touch based! I assume it doesn’t come out of the box, it sounds like you are saying we’d need to write in the handlers ourselves.
Are there any other articles you would recommend to understand this better?

By the way do you have any YouTube videos, would love to watch it. I would like to connect you on LinkedIn, great to have experts like you in my connection (In case, if you don’t have any issues).

I am using decision stage to check whether the age of a person is greater than 18. I am using this expression DateDiff (0, [Coll1.Date of Birth], Today ()) > 18. Date of Birth is in date format. When I evaluate it using evaluate expression it shows the correct result for different cases. But while running my whole flow it is giving always result as True. It never fails. My data also contains the date of birth where age is less than 18. I am not able to understand what mistake I am doing.
    Decision stage not working?

    Please help me out.

1)Connect to VM; (If you use Sikulix you can do screenshot based UI automation to open a VM.)
2)Open browser - perform some actions; (When you are VM you can trigger a Selenium Project by using again Sikulix. Then selenium project open browser and do actions.)
3)Start desktop application - perform some actions (Again Sikulix or Auto-IT or JAVA Robot Class)
4)Go back to the browser (Selenium)
5)Go to your own machine and connect to another VM (Sikulix)

Somebody could share the way how possible (or how it uses) to do the automation testing of a mobile app in combination: windows PC + iOS mobile phone.
Many automation software platforms support only the combination - MAC pc + iOS phone.
Is it possible to use the Windows PC + iOS phone at all?

Very useful article, if I run into challenges along the way, I will share them here.

  18. Hi Man,

Thanks for the post. Very good details. Worked like a charm. Good directions.

How can we ensure security for the processes exposed as web services in BP. I found some way of using digital certificates but no detailed approach provided. Has anyone tried it? Need to ensure that if an external application is invoking the BOT using soap, http protocols and passing xml request then any security issues shouldn't happen.
Note: bot exposed by default have http and not https. also, any other way to make it more secure?

How to secure web services exposed in BP?

Excellent tutorials - very easy to understand with all the details. I hope you will continue to provide more such
    tutorials.

  26. Hi Mate,

What a brilliant post I have come across and believe me I have been searching out for this similar kind of post for past a week and hardly came across this.

Hello all, in my opinion for test automation programming language selection, you should consider following items:
♦ Programming Language community of your automation framework. For example, if you use selenium webdriver, Language support of JAVA is %68, JS %15, Python %11, %5 Ruby, %1 C# Reference
♦ You should check which version is stable and get the updates first. For selenium, as I saw JAVA gets the first updates.
♦ You should check StackOverflow which language has more support.
♦ You should consider your competency of Programming Language which will be used in automation project.
♦ You should consider Test Runner frameworks and their capabilities such as JUnit, TestNG, NUnit, MBUnit, etc.
♦ You should consider how you can run your tests in parallel without any pain. UiPath Training USA

♦ You should consider your software development house’s programming language. In this way, you will get help from developers but in general, developers focus on development rather than 2/.

I look forward to see your next updates.

    Thanks a heaps,
    Ajeeth
